I was born and raised in a family where the textile production was a daily subject to discuss, as my mother, father, uncle, brother, sister, cousin all had their hands in creativity and production. So there I was at a very early age had the chance to touch all different types of raw materials and garments; witnessed the production process of all kinds of textile goods and accessories in our own factory. 

 

After graduating from university, I worked as an Operations Executive at multiple companies in different countries/continents. Traveled around the world to identify the cultural and behavioral differences on human production and consumption habits. I saw the extreme effort that the same human being put in place, to produce more, to satisfy the unsatisfiable hunger for consuming more and more every day. Realizing the impact that this cycle created on environment was a wake up call! So I shook my head, put my things together, started working on the step by step plan with a completely different approach to create a bigger impact on making humanity to realize that we can treat environment with the way that it actually deserves, by just consuming consciously and saying “NO” to these items that have no more value than garbage; that are produced with chemical raw materials which takes million years for earth to compost! By start questioning "with which material that the item we are about to purchase was produced" and making conscious decision on not to purchase if harmful to environment. 

 

Witnessing this ugly truth raised a question and I asked myself “What can I do to create a positive impact on human consumption behavior?” There I started researching on  sustainable raw materials and developing end products which are ethically produced by men and women who are fairly paid and equally treated in healthy work environments.
